What a great place to take young kids! It's clean, fun and the kids have a great time. My daughter talks about going there non-stop - looking forward to the new season with some added rides.

Very fun place, although can get pretty crowded. There are some rides only for the little ones, even my 3 year old couldn't ride on. But there are plenty of things to do and see besides that. I think that face painting for $5 bucks was a bit too much and we decided to pass, because we already paid enough for admission. But magic show was a hit. As well as seeing Santa in July is priceless! :)

Loved it! Went with a group of kids from 2 to 10. The 9 and ten year old were a bit more bored but still had a decent time. The rest of the kids r still talking about. Very clean....great place

I was pleasantly surprised. We spent a whold day there with our 3 year old and a group of friends and cousin. The rides are definitely for younger kids. I would say no older than 7 or 8 years old. Older kids would be bored. I liked that they had bouncy houses and of course the petting zoo is always a big hit. They even had a stage where they had selected children from the audience to participate and compete in games. My son was one of the younger ones slected and he won in his age category! We had a great time.

I was pleasantly surprised about this place. I did not have high expectations and only expected to spend an hour or two. Boy was I wrong. We spent all day there and the kids never tired of the place. They loved the bird cage where they could feed the birds. One bird took an affection towards my husbands shoelaces, which was kind of funny. We got to see them hook up the foxes on leashes and take them for walks. All in all a good day.

My daughters each brought a friend and we spent the afternoon here. The park is clean and there is plenty to keep the kids busy and entertained without spending beyond the admission fee. I would say the park is mostly geared toward kids 6-7 years and younger, but that didn't prevent the 8 & 10 year olds from enjoying it. The dragon boat ride was a favorite, as was the hay bale maze (which was there for Autumn Fest) and animals. The park is clean and well maintained, and there's plenty of shade, benches and picnic tables. We saw many families with wheeled coolers, which is a great way to save money on food. It's nice that the park allows people to bring in their own. I was impressed with the variety and number of animals, and also at how close the kids could get to them. We've never petted a camel before, and were really surprised at how soft the fur on its head was.

The price is similar to other parks, but they don't have as many rides yet. I was surprised that my kids favorite part was Santa's Feathers & scales, it's like walking inside a birdcage. My daughter loved feeding the birds peanut butter sticks and my 18 mnth old laughed when the birds flapped their wings. Can't wait to go back for the fall fest weekends.

I loved coming here as a kid and I get such a kick out of returning with my almost 5 year old! Plenty to do between the old time rides and petting zoo. I also hear that they plan on opening the old Racing Rapids area as an action park to add to it possibly next year. Looking forward to it!

Loved it!! Took our 6 year old twins there last week and they had a great time. They loved the rides, the shows and the animals. It is a bit pricey, but well worth the fun time they had! We will definitely be going back!

My kids had a great time! They are 5 and 2. The rides are geared for them and so are the games. The food isn't great and the parakeet aviary is a bit creepy. But we sill definitely go back.

Great value and perfect for younger kids. My 18 month old had a blast, as did my 4 and 6.5 yr olds. The animals are great, especially the pony rides. A lot of it is the same as it was when I was a kid, just on a smaller scale. Plan to go back next year when even more rides are open.

Took my 2.5 year old and 5 year old girls last week and we loved it. I wasn't expecting much, so was very pleasantly surprised. My 2.5 year old could go on everything, a huge plus. The park was very clean, very nice staff, low crowds, can bring your own picnic (plenty of tables to sit at), and we were able to cover every ride in park plus eat luch in under 3 hours. Very easy place to take kids yourself. A bit pricey, but saved by bringing in our own drinks and lunch plus the low crowds were worth it. Also, their website had a $2 off coupon per ticket.

Santa's Village is overall cute and seems like it doesn't get too crowded (even with park district groups there when we went). Overall... this place is for the 7 and under crowd. There really (at least at this time) is much for the older kids. I did overhear a worker stating more will be opening up in 2012 as well as a waterpark so that may help. There were about 8 rides with the Roto Whip (I believe from Kiddieland) and then kiddie tilt o' whirl and flying hot air balloons being the most exciting. The "zoo" part of it is really small...mainly feeding goats. The Santa Sleigh ride was just a regular guy bringing us around a small area with a few reindeer. There are a couple of food options... standard fair. As well as an ice cream shop (air conditioned) with a bunch of jelly belly's for sale and a brauhaus (thought that was odd). The carnival games area was very very week (about 6). There were plenty of benches and spots to sit which was nice. There were a couple of shows going on throughout the day... we didn't partake but many others did. If you are a paint ball person... there is a huge paint ball field next to it Santa's. Overall, WORTH my money as my kids turned 5 the day we went and I only paid $24 admission for the four of us (thank you familyfinds)... not sure if we would head back again. Maybe.
