My kids love going though the maze - but only worth it if you have a coupon. The 'tour' goes pretty quick so the only way you get your money's worth is using a coupon. The tour itself is very fun and my kids really enjoyed it.
I must say, I have to give Management credit for trying to turn things around with their review. I'd be willing to give them a second chance as everyone needs one.
**Management Response**: Thank you very much for taking the time to comment about your recent experiences at the Maze. We appreciate your feedback and review all comments and suggestions. As much as we would like to be the right fit for every guest, there are times where a guest does not enjoy his/her visit for one reason or another. We are committed to creating an experience where guests leave feeling they had fun and received a good value. If the situation occurs where we did not meet expectations, we will gladly refund that guest the cost of admission and would love the opportunity to welcome you back at our expense. Please contact us at 888-893-7300 so we can help make this situation better. Thank you all for your feedback and we hope to see you again soon! Kirsten Legner (owner)
OMG-bad idea. First of all, left my Oaklee's guide coupon at home and was too expensive. I took my 7 year old son in w me and he didn't like it right away (very dark, mirror maze). To be honest, neither did I. We went out the emergency exit. They were nice enough to let my husband go thru instead. He took my daugther. They made it through (he carried her) but came out w a bit of motion sickness! The only cool thing is that you get to watch your friend or family member go thru on the monitors outside of the maze.
This is a fun area for older/ school age children. My son is 5 yo and he was pretty scared. We went this past weekend and he was not comforted by mother or fathers' presence. There are unexpected noises and it is dark. You also encounter at least two closed in spaces. I enjoyed it, but take caution with mild mannered children and children under 6 years of age. I really love the mirror maze!! At the end you have a chance to get lost again, so don't take anyone that doesn't like being caught off guard or that will be ready to go home and ruin the rest of your visit.
We recently went on a school field trip to Navy Pier. It was great going through the maze, the kids had fun and would not stop talking about what they learned and say while at the pier. It is a great place to go on a family visit. Be ready to pay for parking and almost all the rides you may want to get on.
