Like many people have recommended the membership is the way to go here. You get your money out of it in just two visits! We especially love the new bear exhibit. It"s amazing to see those huge animals so close!
i absolutely LOVE brookfield zoo. it is the best zoo ever. we buy a family pass every year. i have four kids and they all enjoy going there soo much. I definitely recommend getting a pass. it is very worth it. they give you discounts at some of the places with a pass, as well as coupons for other things the zoo has to offer; such as the stingray bay, the dolphin show and the train that goes around the zoo telling about each animal. the zoo is very clean and the people are great who work there. i love how many animals there are and things to see. lots of fun for all ages, including adults.
after 3 years of having a family membership, we still can't get thru the whole zoo in 1 day and we still have fun and find something interesting and new each time we go. The kids always have a great time!
We are members and the price has completely paid for itself. We love to go and since its with a 1 year old we can go for just a few hours at a time and come back another day.
A great zoo and worth visiting at least once a year. Definitely pack a picnic; food and drinks are pricey. Favorite exhibits were the giraffes and wilderness exhibit with the polar bear! My son loves the collectible wax animals.
It's a great place to visit, my daughter loves it, especially in the summer when you can bring your food and have a little picnic. Tickets are a little expensive, but at least parking is free.
Love the zoo. Definitely worth a membership if you go more than twice a year. I would suggest bringing your own picnic in warm weather as zoo restaraunts can be pricey.
The zoo is always a great place for kids. Although I thought the ticket prices were expensive, especially having to pay extra to do things like see the stingrays, or go into the petting zoo. Also, my son ended up falling and cutting his lip open and after hiking for what seemed like forever to the first aid office, there were nothing they could do. They didn't even have a nurse or some type of health professional there, just a security guard type person who offered us a bag of ice. I worry about how prepared they are for even bigger medical emergencies.
This zoo is AWESOME!!! there is always so much to do!!! We bought a membership, & love going for a few hours every now and then.. We did spend one day there from open to close & still didn't see everything. It's a very nice & clean zoo. The staff is always willing to help you or answer questions. The new bison burgers are yummy too. You will have fun no doubt!
I absolutely love the zoo! I can spend days here! The new great bear wilderness is amazing. I was 6" from a brown bear sleeping the other day, it was awesome.
This was the 1st year I was there for Boo at the Zoo, it was fantastic. they even have special Halloween blow molds just for it, there are 5 in all. Very nice way to spend the day.
This is my favorite place to go with my son. I bought the family membership and let me tell you its worth every penny. It pretty much pays for its self with parking, admission and discounts. I bought the 2 year plan this year and I think that has already paid for its self in less than a year already.
