We took our boys ages 5 & 8 for a day trip to the waterpark. The play area was a great size, but seating was VERY limited! We also noticed the pool and play areas were not being properly maintained. There were a lot of noticeable broken pieces and parts. Cleanliness was also an issue.
We took our 2 grandkids here and they loved it. They are 8 & 5. The price was good - $108 for 1 night and the 2 days at the park for 4 people. The kids eat free at their restaurant. This was a great place for a quick getaway.
The pool area was nice, however, the theater wasn't working to watch a movie while the little ones are swimming. We looked forward to that since they showed it on their website. There is also an outside area to swim if it gets too crowded. The rooms were dark and need some updating.
We took our 4 year old daughter about 3 weeks ago for the first time. We had a great time, and it was perfect for her age. We are seeking to go again, hopefully within the next few weeks.
I liked the Co-key resort in Arlington Heights until they closed. I don't know if I could do the drive to Rockford. I could easily go to the dells and get more fun of it that way.
I took my 2 babies here 2 weeks ago and it was both expensive and crowded. My kids did enjoy it. It was their end of summer trip before school starts. I don't know if we will go again as the drive to Rockford was a bit much for me and 2 fighting kids.
We took our kids here for an overnight to have some fun in the waterpark. It was anything but fun. It was so crowded that we could not find any place to put our towels. The pools were very crowded that my kids did not feel comfortable playng in the water. It is a very smal waterpark. Unfotunatly, it did not live up to what we were looking for. In addition, the hotel was pretty outdated and the room were not so great. Everything in the hotel was clean but very dated.
Deffinately for the family with the younger kids from up to maybe around 7ish. Its a bit smaller than the one in Arlington Heights. But for an easy to get to get away that makes you feel like you GOT AWAY its worth it. My kids really enjoyed it. We took our family there for our youngests 4th Birthday and they were awsome about letting me in early to decorate the suite and seeing as we had the family of 5 they threw in the extra swim bracelet for no charge. We would deffinately do this again! (not to mention Rockford area has lots to see including near by State Parks)
