The amazing DiscoveryCenterMuseum is full of over 250 exciting hands-on exhibits spread over a two-floor area. The museum also hosts traveling exhibits, special events and programs throughout the year.
Awesome place to visit the kids never get bored going here. Always changing exbits for the kids to learn new things. The staff is very friendly and great at explaing and answering questions for kids.
This museum is very clean & innovative. There are a lot of different kinds of exhibits that I haven't seen at other children's exhibits. It is definitely worth the drive! We're going to go back in the summer when the huge outdoor play area will be running.
This is one of the best kids museums we have visited. There were things for all ages and it was very hands on. The outdoor playground was amazing. My kids could have spent all day out there.
One very hot summer day, my four children and I decided to check out this children's museum. What a wonderful adventure we had! We spent 3 hours exploring the exhibits, climbing up the staircase, and discovering the amazing outdoor playground outside. The staff was OUTSTANDING, when one of my three year olds decided to explore on her own. They noticed that I was searching for a missing child and two staff members joined in the search. I realized that not one of them (spanning in ages up from teens) were sitting back, "zoning out," or texting. All of the staff were engaged with other guests. It is definitely worth the trip.
Nice children's museum with a science spin. The kids had a lot of fun. I love the outdoor play area which was closed so we will be heading back once it opens for the season.
Just got back from an afternoon at the Discovery Center Museum with my husband, 6 yr. old and 4 yr. old - and all 4 of us had a fantastic time. There are hundreds of hands-on exhibits that make science really fun and engaging. A lot of new areas and exhibits are currently under construction, but there was still plenty for us to see and do. If your schedule is flexible and you're interested in saving $$, Thursday afternoons from 1-5 pm are free admission!
This is an excellent science museum that will keep kids of all ages occupied and happy. My children spent 1.5 hours alone in a special detective exhibit the last time we were there. There are always fun, interesting special exhibits. It is completely hands-on and is geared especially for children 6 and up. Many science principles are just waiting to be tested! There is a special area on the second floor for children 5 and under with a water table, UPS mailing station, house, trains, etc. In good weather, there is an extensive outdoor playground for children to climb on.
Visited this children's museum when my son was 3 and he had a great time. In addition to the indoor exhibit they also have an elaborate wooden playground outside though I believe that is closed temporarily according to website. Attached to the discovery center is a small natural history museum. My son really liked the indoor water table.
Lots of activities to keep your little one busy. Also good for older children to because they can learn the concepts behind te exhibits; whereas the little ones just like to explore. The museum is 2 floors and children can climb through a vertical mouse hole maze to get up to the 2nd floor. If you are bringing more than one chil it is probably advisable to have more than one adult.
