Very fun Children's Museum. Loved the multiple levels... I was not impressed with the snack area, but I think they have improved it. It is located in a great area where there are a bunch of kid friendly restaurants around it. The kids loved playing with the giant lite brites and shadow area... also reading books upstairs.
I took my kids on a weekday . And my kids had a blast their favorite part was making bubbles and the water works section . It's a great place to bring your kids .
My 3yr old son really loved this place! There's so much to do. A little crowded for mid-week. Have a free pass for him but I think it's a little pricey to pay each visit. If I lived closer would definitely look into the membership. Nice that you can bring your own lunches too! My son did the craft activities and made a wood item too! His favorite was the water tables. So much to do in one day, but tons of fun!!
We have been going here since my kids were toddlers and it's such a cool place ! They still have a blast there now even though they are a bit older~ they love the bubble exhibit and the huge waterplay area. Not to mention all the airtubes. Great little place tucked away in Downtown Naperville. Highly recommend.
My son loves this place but I think its too pricey so we rarely go. I think the Child membership is better because it pays for itself on the 4th visit so if you think you would go at least 4 times in a year then do that. Full price admission for for adults doesn't make sense to me since the exhibits are not FOR the adults.
We went this summer, I have an eight year old and a seven year old boys. They had a blast, we had been before but threes hours passed like nothing fun times had by all!
My 4 year old daughter loves this place! There is so much to do that we can spend all day there. When we need a break from playing we like to grab some of the books that are scattered throughout the building and find a quiet spot to read. We tend to try and get there in the afternoon so it's less crowded.
I took my 9 year old and 10 year old daughters to the Dupage Children's Museum during their spring break. I was a little concerned they might feel that the exhibits were too "young" for them, but they had a great time. They especially enjoyed the waterworks and bubble making stations. They got very crafty in the art room making giant flowers, hats, and baskets from newspaper. They let their imaginations soar and had fun! Younger children will have fun and the older kids like mine, will understand the actual science behind the exhibits. Parking is free and it's easy to get to. Take a stroll by the riverwalk after your visit.
Great place for kids =) Lots to do and a variety of activities. A great alternative to the Children's Museum on Navy Pier if you don't want to deal with the crowds & parking. Lots of parking here & very little crowding.
This is an awesome place for kids to learn, explore, and play! My 4 year old has been going there since she was 2 and now my 2 year old comes along. They LOVE this museum and I can NEVER get them to leave!!!
My kids love coming here. It is hard to get them to leave! It has something for yound and older kids. Great value, although I wish parents would get a discounted rate as we do not really "play". Nice that you can bring your own lunch and snacks.
