You pick apple orchard. You are taken into the orchard on a tracto and there you select which type of apple you would like and pick away. There are also pony rides, hay rides, and lots of playgrounds for the kids. They have a county shop where you can buy homemade vidalia dressing, sweetcorn salsa, and real cheese curds, and pre-picked apples. Great for a day of family fun in the suburbs.
This place was so much fun and we lost track of time over it. my kids loved the petting zoo and they begged to go back there again. Tried to save up for it but I'll do more for next time. Will go there again for sure
We spent the morning there this past weekend. Get there early, because it does get crowded. Very well organized. Lots of things to do. Apples were great..along with everything else we ate and bought there!! Definately will continue this family tradition.
I have gone here every year since I can remember! So excited to take my daughter this year. They have the best apple cider donuts and great activities for the kids! And its great to pick your own pumpkin!
Our family LOVES Edwards. Plenty of activities to keep both children and adults busy. Apple picking, raspberry picking (in september), and pumpkin picking (in october), along with pony rides, and the outdoor kids area make for an exciting family outting.The apple cider donuts are delicious, along with the pulled pork sandwiches, and baked potato tent. This is a must trip every fall for my family! The kids can pick thier own apples and there is an amazing play area for them! No trip would be complete without the amazing cider donuts too! Try it and see!
Our first year to visit and it was lots of fun for us! I hope to go back next year and allow more time for the kids to play - we were under a time constraint this year. The apples are great too!
This is a must do for our family since my own kids were little some 25 years ago. Always something to do; good things to eat (if you don't get at least a dozen of their apple cider donuts fresh and warm from the kitchen, you will miss one of life's simple pleasures!). Play area for kids include a tractor, an pirate ship made of wood and more. The petting zoo and hay loft help expend that extra energy before the ride home. One of our very favorites!
