We attended the Wonders of Science Show here last weekend. The show was put on by 3 high school science teachers, and was billed as a "fast-paced" show for second graders and above. My 2nd grader was definitely more engaged than my kindergartener. It was much slower-paced than I had thought it would be. I think it is definitely more interesting for kids at least in 2nd grade, if not older. The price was right, though - $4 per ticket. I wouldn't drive out again from Park Ridge for just the show, but I would definitely come back on a nice day to see the bison herd and take advantage of the hiking/biking trails, which looked great, and picnic areas.
