Very nice forest preserve. You can walk around the forest, stop by the nature center; Graue mill just a short drive from there, too.

Best time to walk or even drive through Fullersburg is the fall. But generally a great place to go and get some fresh air. Kids always like jumping around on the leaves and walk through the Nature Center.

Great free nature center, picnic tables, fun bridges and great trails, all close to a fancy mcdonalds :)

The Nature Center is a great place for a rainy day, or if the weather is nice you can go for a walk in the woods. The Nature Center has a few live animals like a snake and fish to look at and stuffed animals. There are great windows that overlook Salt Creek and you they have binoculars there to look at the wildlife. They have a big treehouse/nest that the kids can climb up in and a huge Mammoth skeleton. Fun place to check out.

A most beautiful place to take your kids for a walk in the woods. We went at maple syrup time, and got a great lesson on how it is made. Staff is very knowledgeable and relate well to kids.
