Hidden Lakes Historic Trout Farm is located near the northwest corner of Schmidt and Boughton Roads. In 1988, Hidden Lakes was acquired by the Bolingbrook Park District. It features four small lakes stocked with an array of fish.

The lakes are nicely situated and the kids LOVED going fishing there. They both caught some fish, including a 13" trout! It is a cute little place that is out of the way to take the kids fishing and have a picnic lunch.

The name sounds beautiful, but the reality is that it's truly an eye sore for Bolingbrook. The lakes itself need a lot of attention. I was very dissapointed, so much that I've contacted the mayor and asked him if he can take a ride to check out the condition. We will not be going back until it's upgraded.
