We live very close to this place so it's great for us to spend a few hours here blowing off some steam. We get punch cards or groupons so we save money on admission. They change up the toys occasionally so it's not always the same things. We even attended a birthday party here and it was nice that it was a private party. We also like the snack area so we can bring our own snacks.
I went with friends and their children. There were 6 children (both boys & girls) ranging in age from 6 months to 5 years. They all had a blast. It is like walking into a mini town. There is a bait shop and two of the girls had a great time pretending they were fishing from the doc (the floor in front of it is painted blue like it's water), and there is a bridge that goes over it. My older daughter loved playing dress up. One of the boys had a great time playing with the car, filling it with gas, and pretending he was a fireman (wearing the fireman dress up outfit they have) and playing with the huge stuffed Dalmation. There is a backroom with a high chair for eating lunch or for having snacks. The place is kept VERY clean - which I liked. The attendant was very attentive to us, offered to bring out different things for the kids. They have buckets of Legos they bring out when there are not a bunch of kids. He walked around and kept the place neat & orderly when the kids moved on to different activities. It was a great afternoon. All the kids loved it.
We didn't have as great an experience here. I thought it was a little overpriced, but had a coupon so it made it a little better. From the moment we walked in (I brought a 5yo, 4yo, 3yo, and 1yo) we were told what we couldn't do. Not to run cause it was too loud, not to play with cars on ramps, not to move toys out of their places. We spent the whole time watching the rules and cleaning up. While the kids had a fun time and really enjoyed all the different houses, it wasn't worth the money to me. If you have a coupon, it's worth checking out once. We were there from like 3-5pm, so maybe it's different in the morning. There were no cars to ride on either. The kids really wanted a shopping cart or something. While we may return, we will more than likely go to Kidstown or another place. It was very clean, however.
We love it here. Great place if your kids are into dramatic play. Like that it has sections for babies to play in as well. You can bring in food or leave, eat and come back to play some more. It is always very clean and owners are very nice.
My daughter who is 20 months old loves to explores all the different houses/areas. I love that as she explores for the most part I can see her from the benches in the middle of it all. I, also enjoy that mornings typically only have little kids. I have also found the staff to be friendly and place to be extremely clean.
My 2 yo daughter and her 2 1/2 yo boy buddy simply loved this place!! They played together and chased each other around for 2 hours on New Year's Eve morning. My daughter was exhausted when she left. The crooked houses and all the themed playthings were terrific. My daughter loved the pink pedal car! What a great gem of a place. We will be sure to head back there soon bringing other friends in tow. In addition, the place was immaculate right down to the bathrooms. I also loved that there is a quiet lunch/play room in the back where the kids can also sit and color or eat lunch if you can get their attention for a few minutes. Especially important was the fact that you can bring your own food in. That's a huge step in making the place affordable and parent friendly. They even have coupons on their website. I spent the whole rest of the day telling anyone who would listen what a great place it was. Thanks!!
