Apple picking in the orchard begins with an old-fashioned hayride to the grove where you can select from over 20 varieties of apples during the harvest season. Then head up to The Orchard Shop & Bakery for some of our famous apple cider doughnuts. Take home a home-baked fruit pie, sample our cream & butter fudge made fresh on-site, watch caramel apples being hand-spun, and take home a gallon of our freshly pressed apple cider. The Shop is stocked full of great gift ideas and gourmet foods too.

Head directly west once you leave the Orchard Shop across the road over to our Pumpkin Farm for some more farm fun! Besides pumpkin pickin’ you can introduce your kids to our farm animals, talk a scary stroll thru the Haunted Forest, climb the Tractor Tire Mountain, and spend hours just enjoying the fresh country air while the kids experience old-fashioned, kid-powered fun. The Barn Store has all the seasonal fall decorations you’ll need to make your house the most festive on the block.

And all that fresh country air can sure work –up an appetite so you’ll want to drop by the Corn Crib Café or The Applewood Grill for a quick bite. Don’t linger too long because you still have to conquer The Amazing Maize Maze with its 5 acres of twists and turns and a flock of barnyard characters waiting to help guide you to the Victory Bridge! So make a day at Kuipers' Family Farm part of your fall family tradition.

This was our first year. We will def be going back next year and hopefully years to come. The kids had a blast and so did we. So much to do. Amazing donuts- my 4 year old actually ate the whole thing (only eats the top/frosting- lol.) I love how they put the biggest pumpkins at the top of the hill and the smaller ones were like a mile away (if you wanted to actually pick your own.) Things were pricey but def worth it. Couldn't get the kiddies out of the corn sandboxes:) If you have a whole day open, I would def recommend this place!

I have been here a couple times. I did not see any coupons this year. There are two sides to this farm, you have to cross the street to go to the giant store and do apple picking. I have never done apple picking, we could spend hours just across at the fun part. prices were 11.75 each, on a saturday. I used an internet coupon for $1.00 off on their site. They have a small petting area, $2 jumping pillow, train ride was $2 or $4 , fun a haunted trail with animated electronic items, hayride to pumpkin patch, playground, and fun barn filled with giant hay bales to climb on and tube slides to slide down. Concessions needs to get their act together though. Also, one part , a water feature with rubber ducks, well, you'd think they would check it to see if it needed fixing, and add more rubber ducks for the weekend rush. the two middle rows didnt work at all, they didnt touch the water to suck up water and be able to race your duck. and there was only about 5 ducks, so for the 500 or so people there, it was annoying. Also, every time I have been here, the service across the street at the store is in another time zone. I have never seen someone move so slow, and each time I come here to get fresh donuts, the person getting the donuts, literally moves incredibly slow, as if the donuts are made of glass. Again this year, the girl who was getting my donuts was doing exactly the same thing, I was thinking, "where do they get these people?" The cashiers are also extremely slow at the checkout, consistently, every single cashier is insanely slow. I dont know who is in charge of that store but it needs a manager to get people moving. Other than that, the place is good for way out west.

We really enjoyed it but the rides can get pretty pricey. They used to put out a coupon for 1 free admission in previous years but I have not seen it for this year.

This was our first time picking apples, and we all had a great time. The trees are more like bushes - very low to the ground, kids can easily reach them. It was crowded on this beautiful Saturday, so we waited in line almost an hour to board the tractor to take us to the orchard - which was directly in front of us. I guess they just like to give you a ride as part of the experience and also control the traffic in the orchard at any point in time. We each picked 1/4 peck of apples, which was included in the $8.50 admission fee. Jonagolds, empire and golden delicious were ready to be picked. Our favorites were definitely the jonagolds - they're delicious, and may have passed up honeycrisps as our new fav. We went to buy some apple donuts afterwards, and had to wait in line to checkout for another 20 minutes. VERY SLOW procedure and needs improvement. We did not take the kids across the street to the pumpkin farm, but I walked around there a bit and it looked like a lot of fun for kids. Another day, perhaps!

I think that this place is one of the best. Yes, it's a bit pricey for $7.50, but at least that includes 1/4 peck. Even the little kids that didn't pay got a 1/4 bag. My family and friends all had a great time. This is the second year we've gone, and we'll go back for many more.

another place just adding up with the prices, making impossible to do the fun things we came for. It's a beautiful place but really can't afford to go back there.

I would have to agree with other reviews. As with the other orchards nowadays, it can get very pricey; however, this orchard is one of the best. They have SOOO much land out there. I am not a donut person, but everyone raves about them!! I like that you can do apples AND pumpkins

This was the first year we have gone to an Apple Orchard and I am so glad we chose Kuipers Family Farm. Everyone is so friendly and we loved the hay ride to the apple trees. It is $7.50 per person to pick apples but you also get a 1/4 peck of apples per person with that fee. So I didn't think it was a bad deal. We also liked that you could taste the apples before choosing that kind to take home. It was a great family trip!! Don't forget the outstanding apple cider donuts. :)

So much to do here & keep you entertained for the day. Like another reviewer said, each activity has a fee so it adds up. They have the best apple cider donuts I have had! It is a place that can become a family tradition from year to year.

We've been here every year and continue to go back- sometimes twice- once for apples, once for pumpkins. It is a big out there west of the city, but it's a nice country/farm drive for kids used to the suburbs. There are age appropriate activities for kids of various ages. It does get pretty busy on the weekends, so bring your patience, but it's a great time. You can usually find coupons on the website or in the local papers. The only complaint I have is that each activity has its own fee, so it can get pricey.

This is a great place. It's a bit far but we went for a friends son's birthday party and everyone had a great time, between the petting zoo, corn mazes, corn "sandboxes" Haunted forest and of course pumpkin patch and apple picking.
