Went with 2 other adults and a total of 4 kids ages 5 and under. It was okay but a long ride for a boat ride to be pulled by a mule. It was too long for that young age group.
We enjoyed it. Lots of intresting history to show kids how life used to be. For us it was a long drive just for the boat ride. We were happy to find out Starved Rock is only minutes away. It made for a great day combining the two!
This is a fun way for children to see the sights of Illinois Valley and travel on the river. It's fun and never overly crowded. I would recommend the trip to anyone. There are also many other little things to do around the Illinois Valley!
