It's fun, free and educational. The exhibits at the Lake View Nature Center showcase the broad spectrum of geology, animal, and plant life in our area. Issues pertaining to history and modern day environmental concerns are also addressed.

We strive to offer interesting, hands-on exhibits that are fun, educational, and accessible to everyone.

The Lake View Nature Center is open Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 4 PM and Saturday & Sunday from Noon - 4 PM.

Visitors can rent a paddle boat every Wednesday and Saturday through mid August in the summer . There is also a new playground, picnic areas, and fishing in the lake.

I love this nature center. They always have some kind of programs. You can pet a bunny! :) In the summer they have pedal boats and fishing pols.

We LOVE this place! Fabulous nature center, fun park but the best part is the free fishing poles and $1 bate!!!

Great place for a rainy day. The place is a bit small, but there are tons of hands-on things for the kids to play with, live animals like turtles, spiders and stuffed animals to look at. They also have a bunny that is free to hop around and the kids can pet (if he is in a good mood). In the summer there is a great playground there too, with one of those diggers that you sit on and scoop and dump dirt. And a small lake that you can walk around.
