The Macy’s Museum Adventure Pass program provides free admission to 17 unique cultural destinations throughout the Chicago area to library card holders at over 140 suburban public libraries.
Beginning September 1, the Museum Adventure Pass presented by Macy’s will be available at 146 public libraries in the Metropolitan, DuPage and North Suburban Library Systems. Library cardholders can receive up to four complimentary passes to 17 museums including the Brookfield Zoo, Chicago Botanic Garden, Kohl Children’s Museum, Cantigny Park and many more. Each Museum Adventure Pass expires within one week of the checkout date.

| I used the pass for the 1st time yesterday. Very nice! All I had to do was go into my local library, show my library card, and tell them which museum I wanted to visit. The cool part is not only is admission free for 4 but that they print out the pass and there is nothing to return to the library. The printed pass is good for 7 days. I only wish they would include some of the Chicago museums but who's complaining. They do have the Brookfield Zoo and the Morton Arboretum 2 great places to take the kids. |

| WOW!!! What an amazing compliment to the existing Kraft Great Kids Free Museum Passes already available at the CPL! It looks like the Macy's Museum Adventure Pass is only available at suburban libraries outside Chgo, but I know you Chgo residents can a Metropolitan Library System card to allow them to borrow from surburban branches. I hope this includes these new Macy Passes! |

| I am so glad that Macy's continues to sponsor this program every year. Because of the passes, I am able to take my kids to museums that I might not otherwise be interested in if it weren't free or discounted. Be sure to check with your library ahead of time because sometimes the passes may be checked out when you want them. Otherwise, it's a great opportunity to visit new and exciting places around Chicago without having to pay the high admission prices. |

| Macy's has been renewing this annually. The available destinations do change yearly. The best way to get a pass is to go the library several days before you are planning a trip. There are a limited number of passes given out a one time and they are good for one week. So, there is no guarantee that you will get one. But, it is worth the try. |

| Love that the passes get you in a lot of places for free! I have gone to a few places I would have never gone, just to try. The people at my library are very helpful in telling me if the passes are all "out" when they will be in. I have gone to Cantigny, Morton Arboretum, and Brookfield Zoo all for free! |

| This is a great offer! We've used it this summer and went to a few places that we wouldn't have even thought about. The only downside is that the list has only 15 museums. I hope that this program continues, year after year! |

My family's budget like many others has gotten tighter this year, this program has allowed us to go places and experience things we wouldn't have been able to otherwise. We have already used the pass to go to the Morton Arboretum and The Chicago Botanic Garden. I only wish I had been aware of this program sooner. |

| We used a museum pass to go to the Kohl's Children's Museum and had a great time. We would not have driven all the way to the museum had I not had the free passes. We plan on checking the pass out again for the zoo when the weather is a little warmer. |
