The Midwest Museum of Natural History's goal is to inspire an appreciation for the great diversity of the natural environment & human culture through education and recreation.
One of the most popular features at MMNH is the live animal collection. The wide variety of reptiles, arthropods, fish, and amphibians are not only fascinating to watch, but also serve as partners in the education process during programs.
Programs at the Museum include scouting badge programs, field trips, birthday parties and Family Overnights. Click on View Website above for more information.
Thanks for the listing! Our museum is definitely kid-friendly with plenty to do, from touring the natural dioramas to getting to know any of our live animals (snakes, turtles and tortoises, lizards and plenty of spiders, insects and other arachnoids!) to our many regularly-scheduled events.
Check out our web site at MMNH.org to learn more about us. We're also on Facebook and Twitter so search for us there too!
