The Milwaukee County Zoo is a serene home to more than 1,800 mammals, birds, fish, amphibians and reptiles with more than 350 species represented. However, the Zoo has become more than that to visitors. It is a site for workshops, holiday celebrations, summer concerts and food festivals.
My daughter-in-law and her Mom took the grandkids this summer! It was Grandmas last day of vacation before returning to work!
Both adults and the children had a great time and plan to return again!
It is now their choice of zoo's!
Driving up to the Milwaukee Zoo is a fun get away. We drove up the night before and stayed at a hotel with pool. It was a great get away. The Zoo is clean and it's exhibits unique and well done. We liked the train ride and the penguin exhibits the best.
This zoo is a fabulous! We got stuck in some rain and with little kids crying, we were sure we needed to leave but while at the far end of the park, it wasn't easy. Then we found a building near by where you can go in to see animals. We were dry and didn't even know the rain stopped. This place knows how to showcase their animals. They treat them very well.
They have an awesome giraffe viewing deck. Feel like a giraffe right up near them. We'll be going back several years.
