My kids love going to this library. They have fun puzzles and puppets to play with. They even host various storytimes and craft projects thoughout the month. If you have a current library card at another suburban library you can often register your card there to be able to check out a limited number of materials.
Wonderful library that really does it right in the Youth Dept. Just wanted to add that some of the holiday programs are so popular that they fill up immediately, so pencil in any date you are interested in and save yourself a spot.
This is a great library. If you like a certain author, you can put it on their database and they will call you with all the new books that come out from that author. They also show movies that are just out on DVD for adults. Very clean and friendly.
I can't believe I waited this long to take the kids to this wonderful library. It is state of the art and incredible for the kids. The kid section is geared towards the little ones with book shelves small and low so they can explore themselves. The video section is great. We will definitely be coming back much more often.
We have seen some fabulous programs through the youth dept. here. My son loves the big fish tank and large Clifford stuffed animals/pilow. They have great Spanish story time there too.
