For more than two decades, the Museum has presented a vast range of educational exhibitions that have continued to offer a vibrant and comprehensive picture of Mexico's art and history, and of Mexican communities in the U.S. Our understanding that Mexican culture is “sin fronteras” (without borders) guides our exhibition schedule and permits us to display artistic expressions from both sides of the border.
We take our Spanish students here every year for Dia de los muertos exhibits. It is so educational and beneficial for them to see the authentic altares and calaveras. There is a good deal of traffic through this museum, but they do a good job of handling the crowds--not a big place. Very good guided tours in Spanish or English.
