Children love the Oak Park Conservatory! It's a great place to discover, explore and learn with 3 display houses including a fern room, rain forest and desert house. The best part of a child's visit is enjoying the fish, turtles and numerous birds that live amongst the distinctive plant life and amazing seasonal floral displays.

This is must visit for families. It is on the small side but neverless fun and interesting. Appeals to all ages, and across the street is a great park for the kids. In the summer the pool is open next to the park.

This is always a favorite of my girls. The fish, turtles and birds are the highlights. Pretty plants, flowers and fresh oxygen are a bonus! The exploration station that they have on Saturdays (check website for dates) is always very educational and fun for the kids.

We discovered this place with a friend, and fell in love. It's true it is not very big, but a trip here can be coupled with a lunch in downtown Oak Park. We went in the winter, and it was a nice break from the cold and snow.

This conservatory is not very big. However, if you do live in the area it is worth to check out. The best part is that there are turtles, fishes and cages with birds - fun for little ones to see:)
