We are members--my kids love this place. It can get crowded (try and avoid camp day, usually Thursday or Friday) so come early to get chairs. The lockers are the worst part about the place (we avoid them) but they have a great confined splash area, water slides, lazy river, concession stand, indoor pool area (if you want a break from the sun/heat) and an awesome sand/volleyball area. If you are a resident, I'd highly recommend a membership. It is incredibly cheap!!
One of the best park district sponsored pools in the area. The indoor area is very large and well kept. They have a zero depth/splash area for the little kids that kept my kids busy for hours. This past summer we visited the outside waterpark for the first time and we were VERY impressed. Tons for the kids to do, we will be going back this year.
My kids have started private swimming lessons and the instructors are wonderful. In fact, on their 4th lesson, the instructors had the kids blowing bubbles/talking to the fish and then listening to the fish. I am amazed at how well the kids are learning and I believe it's due to the wonderful instructors.
I have been coming to Pelican Harbor for many years, thus my rating. I do keep coming back with the kids and they love it. We are all water fanatics so this place is great. Although the pool may be crowded at times there is still plenty to do. I definite plus is being able to bring our own food and drink...

This waterpark was very nice & fun things for all ages. We enjoyed ourselves. The only thing I didn't like was it was crowded the day I went but it was on a weekend. We brought our own food & enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. They also have indoor waterpark which is awesome as well!
Great parent and tot swim time. In the winter it's indoors and perfect temperature! Only costs $6 for non residents and is totally worth it! I can't wait to try the tot swim in the summer outdoors!
We love this place. If I didn't have to work I would spend my whole summer swimming here. They have areas for ALL ages indoor and out. Very cool place, usually very crowded though.
