Skokie’s only off-leash dog park opened its gates in 2003, providing a unique outdoor green space for area dogs (and their owners) to run free. Located at Channelside Park, Pooch Park features more than 2.7 acres of open area for dogs to run. The park also featured separate fenced-in areas for puppies and small dogs, and for agility training. Amenities include dog water fountains (seasonal) and a station to hose off dogs.
We vacationed in Florida and saw that our dogs had a blast at the dog park there and this park did not disappoint. We wish we could get there more often though!
THis is a great place to bring your dog or just go to watch all of the dogs play. There are 2 play areas, one of which is an agility course. This one is fune to watch all of the tricks the dogs can do.
