On 1,950 acres with three miles of beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. We have 221 modern & rustic campsites and three modern mini cabins. Picnicking, a great swimming beach and 6 miles of trails. The rugged dune formation rises 240 feet above the lake and offers spectacular views and excellent hang gliding. On a clear day see the Chicago skyline across from the top of Tower Hill sand dune!

We really enjoyed the dunes. I took my 9 year old and my 6 year old. They absolutely loved the sand dunes. The beach is very clean. They have a concession stand if you do not want to pack anything to eat or drink. They also have a little store where you can purchase miscellaneous items and rent umbrellas.
This is such a great place to pitch a tent and be close to the lake and the trails. It is very clean and just fun to get into nature an hour away from the city!
I just wish there was more natural shade by the lake.
