Took the kids here last Saturday for a playdate, it was CROWDED. Normally we go during the week when it isn't crowded. My kids are 6 and 2 and they both had fun. Lots of stuff for them to play on. We had snacks and played for a couple of hours. It was worth the money to wear them out! :)
We love Yu Kids Island!! We tend to go more during the winter months than the summer months....but it's also great to visit in a super hot day. I've never left my child there unattended but I would feel comfortable doing so. The staff is very attentive, always interacting with the kids and always mking sure the place is spotless!! I'm not kidding....someone is always cleaning and it shows!! The kids love the bright colors, floating balloons, twirl balloons and the jumpy slide. We usually hit Rainforest Cafe for lunch, then Yu Kids Island for a couple of hours and then Baskin Robbins for an after play treat. I can't say enough good things about this place :)
We loved it when we went last year. My daughter was 2 1/2 at the time. Very clean and very fun.. But - we had a coupon for $5 off and we went on Tuesday morning and it was not crowded at all. Not sure if I would have felt the same if I paid $10 and it was packed.
We just went this weekend. My three year old liked it for about a half hour. It seems like a good place for real little ones but not enough activities for kids on the move. I also didn't like that their cafe had no pricing list. I prefer knowing the cost of something before buying it.
We did my nephews 5th bithday party there. The place is new, nice and clean. It is different from anywhere we've been before. I like that it is modern looking. The colors are fresh and bold. It does gets pretty crowded in the second half of the day during weekends, so if you want to go, go early. If you never been there before definitely worth stopping by and spending a couple of hours there.
We went for the first time the price seemed a little high because we didn't stay very long, we were shopping as well so we stayed for an hour 10 bucks seems to high but you do have the right to come and go we didn't. It is soooo clean and nice
I really loved this place! My almost 3 year old was so excited, he didn't know what to do first! My 10 month old had fun crawling around as well. It's great for the little ones as everything is padded and colorful. It's not a very big place but after 2 hours, my 3 year old still didn't want to leave. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The place was clean. Look forward to going back!
10 bucks to get it seemed. A lot but literally its all day. You have come and go rights if u save your receipt. But we didn't get to go my daughter (3) loved it!! So did I. Seriously adults need this kind of place!!! Huge play areas filled with balloons seemed to be the hit. Little balls spinning everything is cushioned. Love it. Bring socks. U can eat in the cafe or go eat in the mall and come back. Its near sears across from the rainforest! The staff was great and its super clean. Gonna have to buy a multivisit pass we will spend the winter here :)
I just stopped by this Monday before the kids went back to school. The kids loved it - great colors and activities for the kids. Free Wi-Fi and a coffee counter. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Definitely check it out if you are in the Woodfield area.
