This ballroom/Latin dance class is designed for children with no ballroom dance experience. In a fun and supportive environment, students will learn the fundamentals of various styles of ballroom and Latin dances, such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Salsa and Swing. Through learning steps, patterns, rhythm and partnering, students will gain body awareness and strength, understand musicality, build self-esteem, learn about teamwork and enjoy being expressive and creative through movement. Dance shoes are encouraged but not required.
