Great place to get messy. The kids loved it. Friendly people too. Parking could be hard at times.

We attended a bday party here it was really crowded! Too much chaos maybe. But my daughter loved it!

I hosted my 4 year old daughters birthday party here and while it is admittedly a bit pricey, the kids had a great time and the staff was very organized. The facility is incredible, and the dedicated party hosts really got the young children engaged in age appropriate activities and handled everything. The parents were basically able to sit back and relax (we provided coffee and a light nosh for the parents in the lounge area). The best part was that each child left with some really interesting art work that they had created...my favorite was an individual painted canvas that each child created (at 4, you can imagine that most looked like big colorful blobs) and the staff took the time to go around to each child and ask what they called their painting, which they then wrote on the back of the canvas with the date. The titles of these little works of art were so insightful and funny!

My daughter got a gift card from Make a messterpiece and had a blast creating. This is what she loves to do always at home but this time I didn't have to clean up.

We just went to a 3 year old birthday party here for someone and I was a little nervous because I thought that they were too young. However, this place was great! All of the kids had a great time and the activites were appropriate for both my 2 year old and my 4 year old! They loved getting messy with the paints and popping the paint bubbles!! They also loved going down the slide as well to burn off some energy!

I visited this locale with my 6 year old son and 2 year old daughter. The place was great, neat, and visually stimulating! My kids really enjoyed the painting at the easels section for the most part. They also enjoyed Bubble Painting. The staff did all the clean up and were on hand to give you paper or added asisstance. There was a $10 cover fee which includes painting (at the easels), entrance to the Tot paly area (small & not supervised), and Infant are (small & not supervised). All other projects are an additional cost.

I just recently had my 2nd grade daughters birthday at Make A Mess. Bottom line, it was GREAT!!!! I would definitely suggest it to other parent who have kids between Pre-School and 4th/5th grade. I am a mother of 3 young girls and live in the city. My first concern having my daughters birthday in Glenview was that not all of my daughter's friends would be able to make it all the way up north. It is actually a straight shot from the city. With no traffic, we were there in about 20 minutes! We invited 20 kids and 18 could make it!! I was so grateful for a good turn out. My second concern is was that the other moms/guardians would not have anything to do for an hour (everyone was coming from the city). Guardians can participate with their child in the activities with them or lounge/read magazines in Club M. This place had it all- entertainment for the kiddies as well as a lounge for the parents. It was ideal!! The girls all had a GREAT TIME. They made a bubble painting, which was very innovative and something that I have NEVER seen done before. The girls loved the bubbles and were surprised when they could make such a cool looking piece of art to take home. The girls were also always very busy and never had down time. It was about 2 hours of fun, interaction with friends, art and capability for the girls to explore their creative side. Another great thing about the birthday party was that I was able to totally take it easy. It was low stress because all of the girls were happy and entertained the entire time. They were able to Make as big of a mess and it wasn't at the house so I didn't have to clean up/set up/entertain. The 2 birthday helpers directed the kids in all of the activities, but also let them be totally creative on their own. They kept the kids under control which made it easy for me to take the load off my shoulders. For an extra cost, I had MAM cater the food as well as pack goodie bags for the girls (TOTALLY WORTH IT)!! I would suggest Make a Messterpiece for any birthday party. It was something new and fun. I think many young kids would be so excited to go to Make A Mess!!! Not only is it great for b-day parties, but it is an ideal spot for field trips, girl scouts and boy scouts.
