Our mission is to unite youth from diverse racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds and help them to build self-esteem and mutual respect through the practice of circus arts. Homework & Circuswork is an after-school tutoring program, we address the need of CircEsteem participants to keep up on their schoolwork while still being able to spend the time learning circus skills. HW & CW offers a safe, educational, and fun after-school destination for students from all over Chicago. Almost all the kids come from families where everyone is working and no one is home to help with homework or provide companionship and supervision.
CircEsteem Birthday Parties:
CircEsteem wants to make your special day the best it can be. Parties can be held at our location or we are happy to bring the circus to you. Our standard 1 hour package includes a 15-minute performance by our instructors followed by a 45-minute interactive circus workshop where guests will get to try their hand at a variety of skills that can include balancing feathers, spinning plates, juggling, globe walking, gym wheel and much more.
