Dr. DiFranco is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, the Arcolian Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.

Although I have never gone for services I did go for the Halloween candy buy back. What a great idea! I thought that we were just going to donate our candy to the troops. But when me and the kids got there they asked us to get on a scale with the candy. The kids got $1 for every pound of candy. I was happy to get the candy out of the house. The kids were sooo happy to get money. Win win.
My daughter is being monitored by Dr. DiFranco for possible furture orthodontic work, so I can't speak personally (yet, and hopefully not ever!:)) about braces, etc. But I can tell you that Dr. DiFranco and his staff have been wonderful, personable, and very helpful on each of our visits. Their brand new offices are gorgeous, with a big, sleek video game in the waiting room and treasure chests with small toys for the kids in the examining rooms. I had my 2 daughters plus their visiting cousin with me on our last visit, and they were all engaged (not whining or bored) the whole time we were there, either with a friendly staff member or with the "kid stuff" in the office. Not only did Dr. DiFranco look at my daughter who had the appointment, but also her younger sister (with a thumb-sucking habit) and my visiting niece (who already has braces). This was totally unprompted by me, and he was fabulous with all 3 of them. Patients have a chance to win an ipod in a drawing, and he's also instituting a promotion where kids can earn bonus "dollars" for good orthodontic practices, and save the dollars for prizes.
