My kids LOVE Splatters! I have a 6 year old boy and a 5 year old girl, and we have done Splatters' classes, open art, and a my daughter's 5th Birthday party there. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the individual attention my kids have received there has been amazing. The owners and other employees are wonderful with the kids, and the projects are so much fun that the kids love to do them. Also, they make GREAT handmade gifts for Grandparents, etc.! My daughter had a rockstar themed birthday party that was a hit with both the girls and the boys who attended. And the greatest part about Splatters is that the kids can get really creative, paints, glitter, etc. And the mess is not at home! I cannot say enough good things about Splatters.
We love Splatters! I had my 5 year old son's birthday party there (Super Splatter Boy theme), and all the guests, that included boys and girls and 5 and 3 year olds loved the party, and the cape project they created. It was such a great value for the memorable experience my family had. We also frequently sign up for the Splatters art workshops and open art times. Lynn and Missy, the owners, are both such lovely ladies. So welcoming and helpful to my kids... If your child likes art, and you hate the mess, Splatters is the place for you! (And you can visit with your friends while your kids create!)
I brought my daughters to Splatters to create a unique birthday gift for their auntie, who was arriving from overseas. They do not have drop-in art times frequently (I think it's once a week), but I was able to arrange a time in advance that worked for us all, which was very nice and accommodating of them. Lynn, co-owner and artist, helped to guide my daughters through their creations. We picked canvasses that were a little pricey ($25 each for stretched canvas on a frame), but there were cheaper ones available. We had a little incident carrying the wet projects out to the car, and the paint wound up on both of my girls' jackets, but Lynn sponged off most of it, and the rest came right out in the wash when we got home. This looks like a very fun place to have a birthday party.
