I went there with my two girls ages 4 and 6, and a friend and her daughter also 6 years old. We bought a Groupon that was called the Glittery Glam Express Package. The description said... The 15-20 minute Glittery Glam Express spa package paints diminutive diva fingernails with colorful polish, applies makeup, and shapes a party updo, while cheeks are topped with a signature glitter star. The girls were rushed from one station to another, their nails were not dry before going for their make up, so the polish got dinged up. The make up looked very cute, and two of the updos were adorable. My 6 year olds updo was pretty awful and fell out before we left the place. I brought her back & asked the girl to fix it, since we hadn't even left yet. I have noticed that some girls are REALLY good at doing updos and others should not be allowed to do them. I am glad I did not pay full price for this. I was very disappointed.
I had a hair cut and mini mani here from the family finds deal. I love this place.. it is pricey, but they do have daily deals (they were posted in the shop) they were really good with my very cranky 3 year old... her hair turned out cute and her nails were cute.. I will probably return My daughter loved it towards the end.. I may have to go back for a pedi for her
Looking forward to their Halloween party. My daughter likes their Friday night and speciality parties. She is not so fond of their birthday parties though.
I took my 2 and almost 1/2 daughter there from a Family Finds Coupon Deal. She LOVED it....For $7, I loved it! Its a very clean place...they are a little expensive regularly, however with Kidsnips still charging $5 more..I can stick to Sweet & Sassy. Ms Amy is who did my daughters hair. She was SUPER NICE to my daughter and it was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend this salon for the little diva's!
Fun for my 4 year old, but don't expect much from a bunch of teenage and early 20 somethings that don't have kids and it's their first job. I would never pay full price to take my daughter, only went because I used a Groupon.
My daughter loves these type of places. I think that Sweet and Sassy is on the pricey side. I prefer My Party Princess in Schaumburg. It is a much more intimate setting and the owner is very accommodating.
Awesome place! They offer friday night parties that are very reasonable and the girls have a great time. They have a pink stretch limo that my daughter loves.
Rip off!!! Cute idea, but very expensive. We went to a birthday party with about 20 kids...it was just about $700.00 with pizza. The girls had a great time, but the parents said they'd never do it again!!!
We went for a birthday party for a 4 year old girl. The group had a great time! My daughter has gone for their Friday Night parties and had a ball. She also rode in their pink limo with a friend for her birthday and both girls felt so special.
We just got back from my son's first haircut there. They had no chair for 1 year old so my husband held my son on his lap for his cut. They said there would be video's for distraction and there were not! The sylist didn't even save any of his hair!!! Another woman came and swept it all away off the floor so the sylist had to scrounge for a few strands on the floor and some of them were not even my son's hair. I am not happy with this place particularly for first haircuts they don't know what they are doing. Snippet's at Yorktown is much better so shame on us for trying someplace new!
