Calling all breeds of dog! Come Join the Hunt! On Sunday, March 24th Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue (GCCR) will be hosting an all breed dog Easter egg. If you’ve never come to an Easter egg hunt, well here’s your chance! You will obtain an empty egg carton that you will take your dog and have them sniff out the best of the best eggs. You will then fill up the carton with eggs that hold special surprises inside. Eggs are filled with treats and one-of-a-kind surprises. Once the carton is filled, return it to get your reward! Come join us the Bird Haven Green House in Joliet for some great Easter fun! Bird Haven is located at 225 Gougar Rd, Joliet, IL 60432 and the hunt is on from 9:30-11:30 am. All of the proceeds of the Easter egg hunt will be going towards Milagro Milly, better known as Miracle. Miracle came to GCCR, broken and unwanted. She has a paw deformity, which is causing her so much pain that it is hurtful for her to even walk. GCCR is raising funds to help Miracle in receiving the surgery she needs to live a life free from pain. A life where she can love and be loved and run with the freedom her short life has denied her so far. Admission is $10.00 with all of the proceeds from the Easter Egg hunt going directly to help fund our beloved Miracle’s surgery. Won’t you come join GCCR at the Easter egg hunt event where you will be able to hunt for eggs with surprises inside and help donate to Miracle’s fund. There will be food, prizes and treats for both humans and animals at this enticing event. Miracles…they happen every day don’t they? Please help us give Milly the care that she needs to lead a normal, healthy life with a forever family! Please make sure all your dogs are leashed and we ask that you do not have them on retractable leashes. We also ask that you not bring aggressive dogs.
