Admission fees to the Morton Arboretum are discounted every Wednesday. This is a great time to take the kids to see the Children's Garden, where they can climb, play and participate in the many activities offered.
Love it! This is a great place to let the kids explore and climb around. Great when the weather is nice. Kids allowed to play in streams in the children's garden. I highly suggest packing a lunch. There are tables to eat at or bring a blanket and enjoy lunch on the grass.
We came to the Arboretum and took advantage of the discount on Wednesdays. It is a beautiful place for moms and kids to de-stress while enjoying the beautiful backgrounds of flowers / trees. We had lunch on a blanket and smiled all day! The kids area was a hit! Climbing , and discovering nature ! Loved it1
What a great place for kids! Simply breath-taking, especially on a warm summer day with all the water areas. Kids adored all the treehouse climbing and it was just an overall great experience. Highly reccommend !
I like taking the 3 yr old I watch to the Arboretum. I take her on the Wednesday discount day and she plays for hours in the various play areas. We bring a lunch and make a day of it.
My autistic daughter loves the kids garden & walking through the arboretum. It is one of the places anyone with a disablity can enjoy as there are accessible paths & lots to enjoy. Highly recommended!
We visited the kids garden in may and our daughter loved it! They had many arts and crafts through out the garden to do. But our favorite was the tadpole pond, kids were wading in the pond and were able to pick up tiny tiny tadpoles in their hands. Great experience!
The fact that the Arboretum shows you a different face in every season makes it special and beautiful, the discount dates are great for large families to go out and enjoy the outdoors any time of the year because there's always something to do and to see.
Absolutely LOVE this place! It is safe secure and fun for ALL ages. I have been there with my family (6 and 2 y/o)You can walk, bike or ride a bus. There is a children's garden that is out of this world and summer events that are worth your while! You just can't miss out on this place!
I love this place and when we realized they had a Children's Garden we immediately decided to have our daughter's birthday party there. All the kids and parents loved the location and activities (we booked the party during a weekend of events already happening by the Morton so the guests got to enjoy 2 events at the same time!)
The staff was very helpful with questions and meeting our accommodations. Great place for the grownups and kiddies!
My daughter loves to go here and play in their children's area. It is kind of like going to a park within a park. She loves climbing in the various playhouses/playareas. The is also a section where you can walk/play on the rocks. If you are going to this section, I would recommend a swim suit or a change of clothes.
