The Family Fun Festival returns to Millennium Park this summer, making the Park the place to be for kids of all ages. Every day, from June 13 - August 21 between 10 am and 3 pm,, family performances and hands-on activities will take place in the Family Fun Tent, located on the Park’s Chase Promenade North.
Visit their website for a schedule of daily performances and activities.
We went to the Millenium Park last weekend and had a great day. My girls loved seeing the sculpture and we had a good time at the Family Fun festival. I do admit, it was overly crowded during lunch time. We will probably visit again during the week and before 12pm
We went to Millennium Park two weekends ago and stopped into the Family Fun festival. The whole park is great, but I really wished they allowed (responsible) people to bring in dogs. I know everyone has to clean up after themselves, but it seems a bit "off" that you can't bring dogs to a park, especially since there is so little other grassy places in that part of downtown. In any event, my daughter and niece loved it down there. The really do have so much to do, parking under the park is reasonable, go and enjoy!
My daughter loves Millenium Park!! She enjoyed the Big T.V. fountain that shoots water out! We took sooo many pictures of her & her friends enjoying it! Just make sure you bring some water shoes so the children don't hurt themselves. They loved it!! We had so much fun in the Family Fun Tent as well they played games & entered the Hoola Hoop Contest!
You just can't go wrong in Millenium Park with kids and especially with the summer activities they have in the Family Fun Tent! What an awesome city we live in (or near)!
