Amdur Productions, a nationally acclaimed art festival production company, announced today that the iconic Gold Coast Art Fair will move to Grant Park’s Butler Field, at the corner of Monroe and Lake Shore Drive, for it’s 53rd year. Nationally revered as the “Granddaddy of American Art Festivals,” the Gold Coast Art Fair is rated as one of the top twenty festivals nationally and is the third oldest and by far one of the most well attended art festivals in Chicago.
Free and open to the public, the Gold Coast Art Fair will showcase the work of more than 400 juried artists compared to the 350 artists who exhibited in years past. Original works range in price from $25 to $25,000, ensuring there is something for everyone.
In addition to extraordinary artwork available at the Fair, guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and view live art demonstrations which take place all weekend. Live music from local bands and musicians can be heard throughout the weekend and tasty treats will be available for purchase. Activities for kids also take place at the Gold Coast Art Fair, including an interactive art wall where children can help paint a mural.
