Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children between ages 5 - 12 and free for children under 4.
We were very disappointed in the fair because it was so expensive. Admission was $30 for the 4 of us, and that bought you nothing but the right to walk around to the even more expensive vendors, rides and games. There was some free entertainment, but when we were there it was a Hannah Montana copycat that the girls had no interest (thankfully!) in listening to. Rides were $2 - $6 (for 1 - 3 minute rides) and games were generally $3 - $5. I was so disgusted with the prices I couldn't even enjoy myself. The girls of course wanted to play every game and ride every ride. So we bought ride tickets, then gave them each $10 to use for games or more rides. Well, that was gone quickly on a couple of games. We spent some time looking at the animals, but there weren't many there. One of the volunteers explained that Lake County's farms are quickly being replaced by subdivisions, so there aren't many left to exhibit at the fair. I feel very bad giving such a bad review to a nonprofit organization whose volunteers obviously work very hard for this event. But it's not possible for a family to spend the day at this fair without spending a ton of money. One nice thing is that even though the fair was at capacity and they were not allowing more people in, there were no lines for rides or games. I suspect it's because of the prices.
