I can honestly say this was one of the fests I was somewhat disappointed in. We went this weekend and had to pay $5.00 each to enter (which none of the other fests we had been at this year had an admission charge. Their all you can ride bracelet was $20.00 and at the other fests it was $15.00. The rides were at least 3 tickets each and if you purchased a ticket it was $1.50. My daughter liked making a sand necklace (which we had to make a $1.00 donation to the park district) and we had no problem doing that since it was going to the park district. We saw the cold blooded creatures. Sidney made a picture out of paint drippings which we also had to donate $1.00 other than that the price was a lot more than we were used. I guess I was surprised that in this economy they did not at least try to have prices comprable to other fests. I dont think we will be there next year.
