Both kids and adults are amused as a train chugs along the restaurant walls; An interactive train display entertains both the young and old at heart; Guests seated along the counter track will have special food delivery via model train. A variety of train, country, and children’s music play in the background enhancing the railroad dining experience.
Was not impressed with the atmosphere or the food selections. There is a similar type of resturant in NW IN called Tyler's Tenders. It is much cleaner, brighter, and better food selection not to mention they have a train ride inside.
Kids liked this place. My 3 year old son was more interested in the games than the train bringing out the food. It is definitely entertaining for the kids and they actually ate the food!
Great little outing for you and your kids, good food great child friendly atmosphere you food even arrives via choo choo train! They have a few little games and quarter rides too, but it is really more of a restaurant that your kids will enjoy - not a game filled day long event.
This is the most kid friendly eatery I've been to. Food is great, love the train that brings the food. Staff is friendly and the location is not very far from home. LOVE IT!
My boys loved this place when they were between 2 and 5. We used to go a lot for lunch before they started school full time. The train in the waiting area is completely enthralling, and the train that brings the food to the counter seats is really the highlight. The food isn't bad, and the prices are consistent with the quality of food. It's a fun place to go, and the kids leave happy.
My kids barely sit dow to eat their food at this restaurant! They love all the trains, especially the newer display at the front of this restaurant. They think it's awesome that the train actually brings their food to them! The kids meals are a hit, and I love their Taco salad! And they love it when they get free ice cream, and their train whistles!
This is a great kids restaurant if you can get your child to see down to eat! Lots to do and look at! The food is a little pricey for the quality but it is worth it for the experience!
Great place for kids we travel there to eat every other month... my kids absolutly love the things to look at and enjoy. I have recomended it to manyh family and friends that have choldren of all ages(even my husband loves it).
Though the wait can get quite long around lunchtime, your kids have plenty of diversions to keep their minds off their hungry tummies: besides the trains, there are a number of arcade type games around the restaurant. Aside from the typical hot dogs and burgers, the menu also features some decent wrap sandwiches. The food is good enough - but let's face it, the novelty aspect of the restaurant is the main draw here, not fine dining!
