Gaetano Di Benedetto, former owner and executive chef of La Piazza invites you to join him for dinner in our new location! He'll still proffer a few La Piazza favorites, like his gorgonzola-shrimp puff pastry, his mozzarella balloon salad and chicken cooked under a brick, but he plans to switch up the menu much more often based on what he picks up at the local market.
This is the best restaurant in Forest Park and surrounding area
We went here last year for my birthday
The food is always delicious
great for dates a little expensive but worth it for that special occassion
My husband and I went here to eat without the kids for a date night. Food was very good but as mentioned above, prices are expensive. I don't remember seeing any kids there when we were there so I'm not sure I would take them there but it's definitely a great place for mom and dad!
We've known Gaetano for many years. He is a family man and a neighborhood supporter. His food is out of this world. Gaetano is very fond of children and gives them special attention. His prices are high but the food and service are worth it. Gaetano and his family moved here from Sicily about a decade ago. His food is authentic. Make sure you go ready to eat a four coarse meal and try at least one thing you are not familiar with - a wide range of wild poultry, boar, many vegetables you may never have heard of or thought to eat (dandilion greens). I grew up with Sicilian grandparents and eating at Gaetano's is like going home...
