Johnny Rockets is an international restaurant chain that provides the food, fun and friendliness reminiscent of feel-good Americana. On June 6, 1986, the first Johnny Rockets opened on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, offering guests family friendly service and great food in a fun and nostalgic atmosphere.
Every kids meal includes a kids sized American fries & choice of soda pop or milk.
My daughter dances to the music. She adored the ketchup face made on the plate my the waitress. I enjoyed the salad that fit my diet diet while my husband and daughter indulged in the hamburger and fries. My husband still talks about how good his milkshake was.
Johnny Rockets is a great, affordable place to take the kids as a reward for "shopping well done." The prices are great, especially in comparison to other options at the Promenade. The atmosphere is fun, and if it isn't crowded, they'll let our kids sit at their own table!
My son and I love it here. We go there for a burger and fry and to be able to sit at the table and play music for a nickel. He gets to pick all the songs. We have a blast!
Where else can you find a 1950's diner with kid friendly food and even a little entertainment with your meal? My kids love the entire experience from the booths to the jukebox and the counter. Lots of menu choices that even picky eaters should find something.
My 4 year old LOVE's this place, she alway picks the Burger and fries and wants asks to go here at least once a week. It is very kid friendly and has Great food.
We went there & one of their tables along the windows has a fire alarm right on the wall at the end of the table. On of the children we were with pulled the alarm - it says "PULL" on it & she didn't know what it was. The manager acted very upset by it & they did not have a key to turn it off. We had to wait for the fire department to show up & it activated the alarm in quite a few stores. OTHERWISE, it is a fun place to go to eat. My girls especially like the smiley face ketchup.
We go to Johnny Rockets at least 3 times a year. The kids love their hamburgers and fries. The staff is great and they actually do a little dance for the customers every now and again. We've never been dissapointed. All around a good place to go.
