We were seated and waiting FOREVER for service. While we were waiting for service we had plenty of time to notice how dirty the place was and decided to leave before anyone ever came to take our order.

I normally like JR, but this location is a waste of time and money. They are so disorganized and our food took over 20 minutes to come out. When we complained to a manager, they didn't seem to care and only apologized. Don't bother with this location.

We've been here a few times and sometimes the service is pretty good and other times it's super slow. The food is overpriced but the shakes are great.

I was surprised to hear that there is suppose to be singing and fun happening here! It is very overpriced for mediocre food, the service is outrageously slow. The servers seem to be either new to serving or just hate their job, because they seemed bored to tears. For a family of 4 to just have burgers, 2 drinks, 2 shakes and fries it was $47 including tip. I'd try Ed Debevic's in Lombard if you want a fun rock n roll music atmosphere!

Wondering when JR is going to go out of business; it's too bad, because the concept is good and I'm sure other restaurants in the chain do well. I've been there three times, and the service extremely slow all three times, even when there's not a lot of people in the place. The staff does not seem like they are having much fun with the patrons either. JR should have a lot of singing and audience participation and fun; the opposite has occured on each visit. People are catching on and not going back so JR management should look at this as a sign in a down economy
