On June 6, 1986, the first Johnny Rockets opened on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, offering guests family friendly service and great food in a fun and nostalgic atmosphere.
Every kids meal includes a kids sized American fries & choice of soda pop or milk.
Good old fashioned burgers are the highlight. It's a good place for a fast food burger option for your kids other than McDonald's. It's a bit pricier than McDonalds, but the quality of the food is better. The shakes are also very tasty. It is also a throwback to the 50s/60s era so my kids find it fun.
Our kids love eating at Johnny Rockets. The burgers and fries are yummy and they have killer shakes. My son has fun putting the coin in the jukebox to select a song.
Johnny Rockets in the Old Orchard Shopping mall has appeal for kids and adults. It looks like an old diner inside with oldies playing on the speakers. They give kids little chef hats & crayons to keep kids entertained. The food is basic diner food- they do have GREAT burgers though. Check it out!
