We had my son's first birthday at Nibbles - it was fantastic! The food, staff and play areas are great! It was a no stress party where all the children (2mos to 10 years) had a good time and the adults got to enjoy themselves too!! I would highly recommend them for a party or just something to do with your kids! We look forward to going back there a lot!
I have been there twice with my children. The last time we went was for my son's 4th birthday. If you sign up for emails you get a coupon for free admission for your child the month of his/her birthday. Sibblings are only $3. We went on a special "Wiggles" day and the children 4 & 2 had a great time listening and dancing to the music and "marching" in a band!
I give the owner credit. She really did turn this place around. My theory is you get what you pay for and I'd rather pay a little more for something nice that pay a little and go someplace trashy. It's not perfect yet but great improvement since the last time I was there.
Me and my kids met up with a friend of the family and her children. We tought the price was a little to high but the kids did have fun and we could keep on eye on them they like it but i dont know about going back.
This isn't a fair review, I'm the owner but wanted to share some thoughts. We're working on a new menu so we can get offer food options at a lower price - these items will be coming out through the last half of January. Most kids between the ages of 1-5 play in our areas well for 2-3 hours. Kids who need a little more physical activity may not be a great match (boys that are over 6 need a little more runing, but the older girls still do great). Our play areas were developed by early childhood professionals and are similar to the play that you see in preschools- not very flashy but encourage creativity and imagination. Our art area is a problem of concern - hard to put out good art when there are 1 and 2 year olds trying to eat things. We think we have a pretty good thing going - and are working hard to make improvements all the time.
I went there with my three daughters aged 9, 7 and 2 and my girlfriend went with her son 7 and daughter 4. The concept is great. Unfortunately, there were only a few things for the big kids to do, it was even too small for the 4 yr. old. Food was pretty decent. Overall, the kids managed to have a good time, but it was a bit pricey. We could have just as easy had a play date at one of our houses.
I have only been there once and thought the concept was excellent. A nice place to eat and play. It was small enough where you could sit at a table and chat and still keep you eyes on your child. I was expecting a bit more. Maybe a "little tikes" type play area or more arts-n-crafts. But my almost 4 yr old son said he had fun playing with his friend.
They are friendly and seem to really care about kids, but it's an expensive outing for the amount of play value here. They need many more toys to make it worthwhile - there is hardly anything there and the food is expensive.
My girlfriend and I recently went there. Her son is 6 and mine is 3. Yes, they can played and we were able to talk, but it cost $10 for that and then there was the food tab which we thought was pretty pricey. We both felt that Nibble's attraction must be for younger children. We're always able to talk when our kids are together, so this was not worth it.
I have been to Nibbles several times. The last time, I meet up with my sister. We actually got to talk- without the incessant distraction of our young children. Food is good. Kids love the variety of toys and activities (they have great live performers- check their calendar). Come with a friend, a book, or some crafting supplies. Enjoy a little peace!
Nibbles is a cute little cafe, with some kid play stations and activities for the kids. Parents can have lunch there, and simultaneously keep an eye on their kids, while their toddlers play and do arts & crafts or watch cartoon vidoes. I have only gone there one time so far, but I plan to return when I go visit my mother-in-law. It's only $5 for your child to play there and there is no time limit on their play time. On a rainy or cold day, here's another place to put on your list to visit or have lunch, while your kid play. The kids can dine there too of course. Mostly though, they get to play, you get to rest. How great does that sound?
