This may be the world’s first worry-free restaurant. You don’t have to worry about: The price, the time it takes, the neighborhood, the kid-tolerance, the comfort, the portion sizes, the variety, the décor or the ultimate restaurant worry, “Will (insert appropriately PICKY family member’s name here) be able to find anything suitable to eat?” See? No worries.
Fresh. Wholesome. Balanced. Fast. That’s the culinary mantra here.
Fresh means real ingredients – nothing canned – sautéed and grilled just for you right this second, for the apex of taste, the zenith of flavor, the summit of Mt. Yum. Wholesome and balanced mean, real food – stuff that makes your body say, “Thank you” instead of “What the heck was that?” And fast? That means what it usually does. Quick, come on in.
It's a nice change of pace from the usual kid restaurants. It's a bit pricey, and we only order the small size meals. The larges are much too big. My kids ALWAYS get the mac and cheese. It's very filling, so be prepared to bring some home even with a small.
For the kids, I guess the food is okay. I didn't think it was very good personally, but maybe I got the wrong thing. Not that cheap either. We probably won't seek it out again, but in a pinch will work for the kids I guess.
My daugther is always asking to go here. She loves their Mac N Cheese. Some places do not make good Mac N Cheese and she will not eat it. But here she will. My husband and I like eating here as well. We have never had a bad meal choice or dining experience. We also like to sit outside and look at the downtown area. If you give them your email address, they will send you a coupon for a free entree.
Finally there's a different type of fast food served - noodles! Food is OK, but not the greatest. I thought the dishes we'd tried were a bit salty. Loved the dumplings.
I would say this place is just okay. It is not terribly expensive, but come on, it is basically noodles, it should be cheap. I ordered the salad with chicken and the chicken breast is the same type of chicken breast you get on the salad at McDonalds. I also think it is expensive for the kid's meal because my daughter doesn't eat that much, so I feel like I am paying for a big portion that will just get thrown away. However, if you have a kid that is older and eats more, it is probably a decent value.
I just returned from lunch here with girlfriends, and it was delicious, fresh and fast. The staff and manager were very helpful and friendly. I will be back with my kids.
