We ate here during Applefest in Long Grove. It was nice, basic food. The waitress was amazing with my daughter. I agree, it is not kid friendly and gets crowded, but they certainly made it work for us! I was pleased with the service.
I went there once for brunch and it was very nice. Quaint and sweet but I don't think it's great for kids. Maybe if you are going with an older crowd. And of course, it is always nice to walk around Long Grove afterward or before.
i wish i could say more good things, but we went here for a family brunch and it was kind of average and kind of over priced - i don't think it's a horrible experience, and maybe the regular service is better, but we weren't that impressed - but lots of fun to walk around long grove
