We have hundreds of varieties of old-fashioned candy from flying saucers and candy buttons to wax bottles and wax lips. We also have 21 colors of M & Ms and 12 flavors of Pucker Powder Candy Art available in 6", 12", 18" and 34" plastic tubes.
Our signature item is the "Candy Bear"- an 8" animal that you hand stuff with 30 pieces of hand-picked candy.

I came with my godchildren from Chicago because I had heard that Candy Bear Lane was a unique and friendly store. I was not disapointed, the atmosphere took me back to my childhood and it was fun going down memory lane with all of the old fashion candy they offer. My godchildren also had a wonderful time picking out teddy bears to be stuffed and clothed. It is a wonderful place to go for both the young and the young at heart.
Our 10 year old daughter had her birthday party here and it was fun for both boys and girls. The kids loved the concept of stuffing their animal with candy to gobble it up later. They all had a wonderful time!
We had my daughter's 8th birthday party here in January 2010. We all had a great time. The kids were kept busy with counting candy, filling their stuffed animals and playing games, dress up, and foosball. I loved it because Barb, Lisa and their assistant oversaw the activities. I brought cupcakes and bottled water for the kids. The upstairs decorations were adorable. My daughter's 6-year-old friend said that she had such a good time she plans to have her birthday there.

WOW! What a cute store... We stopped in after seeing their cute window display. This place is ADORABLE....My youngest turns 7 in April and we are going to take him and his friends on a quick train ride from LaGrange and have a party on their 2nd floor. Perfect!! I can't wait. They are so nice to work with too!! ;)
Fine spot with a good variety of goodies:) We got the candy bear as a souvenir
which we enjoyed stuffing--however, probably won't go back given the long drive for us
