A truly superb toy store! Toys to get kid's imaginations moving. Multiple areas for them to explore and play while you shop - trains, blocks, kitchen, and more! All natural baby products, cloth diapers, and stuff I've never seen before that is AMAZING. The customer service is out of this world too. What a gem!
This is such a cute store! Sooo many different toys that you wouldnt normally find in the big name toy stores. Just looking in through the windows makes you want to go in!
I won the twelve days of Christmas contest and was waiting to receive the Citiblocks, which was the gift I won. After waiting several weeks, I called the store and left my cell phone number. The very next day I received a call and was told there was a communication error on who was to mail them out. I placed an order for two more sets over the phone and was told I would receive an additional set for the mix up of not receiving the set I won. I was so surprised when the package came and not only did I receive the four set but they sent them all gift wrapped! What great customer service I received from Gepettos toy store!
This is my favorite birthday present store! I get excited when my girls get invited to a birthday party because it means I get to shop at Geppetto's! Definitely very unique items and very helpful staff. And they gift wrap for free! Can't tell you how many 'day of the party' gifts I have gotten and taken advantage of that! Oh and I've definitely bought a few things for the girls at the same time.. :)
This is a charming toy store with excellent selection of quality toys! But the owners make this store special. A few years ago, when my oldest son was 2 yrs., we had planned to have dinner at the restaurant next to Gepettos and I had promised him we would go early and stop in the toy store. I mistakenly thought it was one of the evenings they were open late. To make a long story short, we got down there and they had just closed for the evening. My son promptly had a bawling meltdown right there on Lake St. The owner saw this and came out and offered to keep the store open longer just for my son. It was so generous and sweet. I never forgot that kindness and still try to shop there even though we have moved out of the Oak Park area.
