We've only been a couple of times and the mall is never crowded, but there really isn't anything in the mall worth going to. They did have Children's Place, but that's all I remember. I will say, this is the place to take your kids if you want pics with Santa because it's never busy!
The one thing I like about the mall is there is a small play area for the little kids. However, it's pretty dirty, you need to wear socks, but I don't think they've ever cleaned the carpet...yuck if you have a infant crawling. They use to have a large area, they tore that down and made this small area. Still a good place that's free to kill time in the winter or on a cold day.
This is kind of a crappy mall. But it's the closest one to my house, so we go here to avoid the drive and the crowds at Woodfield. It's nice that they have a Kohl's and a Target right in the mall. When the weather is bad, you can get a lot of shopping done under one roof. They have a SMALL kids' play area. It is similar to the one at Woodfield, but much, much smaller. However, it is also much, much less crowded. My two year old loves it.
This is a good mall to go to for Christmas shopping or on the weekends. It is never crowded. The Disney store has left but they still have the Children's Place. They also have Target, Kohl's, JCPenny and Sears as their staple stores.
If you want to shop at a less crowded mall than Woodfield or Hawthorne this is a good mall but it does not have nearly the selection of stores. It has your typical food court but Kohl's is usually the only store I stop at.
I would agree that this mall has declined a lot over the years; however, I believe they have tried to revive it in the last couple of years. The foodcourt feels a bit creepy to me, but we still go there occasionally to return something or to Sear's for appliances.
Used to go to this mall all the time years ago when it was an outdoor mall. Have only been a few times in the last few years, but did not think it was worth a trip. There are so many other malls that are in the area that have same and better selections. Old Orchard and Woodfield are a lot better choices.
Not my favorite mall. I do go there for Kohl's, but I really don't like the Sears being in the middle of the mall. They do have a toddler play area, but it is really tiny and for really young ones. To me, most of the stores are not ones I would shop at. But ok for a quick run to Kohl's, Sears or JCPenny.
I used to love going to this mall as a child/young adult but it has really gone down over the years. I might stop in there to go to Kohl's once in a great while but won't drive out of my way to go there.
I think of this mall when I want something from Kohl's or JC Penny. It is small and there are often empty stores. I have seen this mall decline over the years.
I used to shop here a lot. They offer a wide variety of stores and places to eat. They have one of the best realistic Santa's around at Christmas time.
