Morkes Chocolates has been making premium, hand dipped, new and old-fashioned chocolates for almost 90 years. From our 1920 beginning on the near southwest side of Chicago, until today, Morkes Chocolates has stood for quality products at a fair price. We use only high quality, natural chocolate blended from the cacao beans of the Ivory Coast, Brazil and Ghana, and we strive for all natural ingredients in all our candy centers.  Our attention to detail and small batch production ensures superior quality. We are small enough to give you personal attention and large enough to fulfill your every chocolate wish. As a full line chocolate confectionaire, we can custom make any chocolate creation you can image. Family-owned and operated for three generations, Morkes Chocolates has become a leader in the art of creating handmade gourmet chocolate confections.

My daughter had her birday at Morkes, it was the best. The kids made several molds and then a pizza out of chocolate. then each kid took home lots of chocolate. No need to buy any goody bags for this party!

I used to live out this way and every year I would order cases of their taffy apples in the Fall. They are one of the few places that make and sell old fashioned red candy apples. Those are to die for! They have unique chocolate pieces and it is all homemade. Worth the trip.

We just did a birthday party there for my child who was turning 6, and it was great. The kids got to make 3 projects in chocolate and take a pound of chocolate home with them. It is structured and parents can drop off or stay. The only reason I did not rate this a "5" is because there was only one party person for 18 kids, and it was too hectic. Parents had to pitch in and help out, so I felt they should have provided another assistant. Other than that, the chocolate is fabulous and everyone who attended said this was very, very unique and a great alternative to pump it up birthday type parties.
