Swedish Bakery has and always will serve only the finest bakery products made from the best ingredients. Traditional Swedish products continue to be made, as well as an infusion of other European and old fashioned American items.
YUMOHHH!! They do a wonderful job and are well known for their whip cream and strawberry cakes--classic spot without a doubt. I agree with the comment about the character cakes and I believe the prices are fair.
We have enjoyed desserts of all kinds from the Sweedish Bakery for years. We are friends with the owners and they take pride in their bakery. Everything is yummy, you can't go wrong with anything you get from there.
Another way to celebrate any occasion or none at all is to have something heavenly for a price that won't send you into a cardiac arrest. So many calories well gained ;-)
The bakery goods here are out of this world. All the desserts are the tastiest and the moistest ever. I have a friend who won't go to any other bakery. The staff are really knowledgable and friendly. You name it they carry it. Watch out for Saturday mornings the place is mobbed! Have you ever seen there fruit cake with whipped cream?
OMG!! If you are a sweet lover, you MUST visit this bakery! I came here with my friend on a quest to find the best bakery to make her 40th birthday cake (she's very choosey). Swedish Bakery won hands down. Their cakes are light, moist and delicious, as are their fillings. For frosting, they offer buttercream, french buttercream (which is delicious - almost like a whipped cream), whipped cream and marzipan. The cakes they had on display for children's birthdays were gorgeous! Three dimensional character cakes (like Sponge Bob and Ariel) that go way beyond what you'd get from a traditional Jewel or Dominicks. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. One spent a lot of time with my friend, offering samples of frostings, etc., and another offered free cookies to our children. The bakery items on display all look delicious - coffee cakes, breads, cookies, cakes - I wanted to take it all home with me.
