On the fourth day of Christmas Eric said to me....
"Here’s one of my favorite games!"
Pentago
If you’re like me, you're always looking for a game that is just as engaging for both kids and adults. Those games are tough to find. When one comes my way I tend to do the Snoopy Dance of Joy. Pentago has been a game that’s been on my favorites list for 3 years! Age graded at 8+, although I tend to think that a good amount of 6-7 year olds would do just fine with it, Pentago is a fast and fun strategy game that is both simple and sophisticated. The object of the game is to create a row of five marbles anywhere on the board. The mind twisting part is that you’ll twist one of the four game blocks as part of your move. This causes the game to dynamically change, making for a fun and challenging game experience, both for beginners and masters alike!
I'm voting for the 4th toy of Christmas. Yes, I already wrote one review but this toy is worth it. Instead of holiday cheer in a bottle this year, we're giving as hostess gifts Pentago as a familiy gift. Four games later and the families all love it!! Check it out. It's worth it. Great for your analytical thinkers.
4th Toy of Christmas: Pentago is a great game for kids who are analytical thinkers. It's (sort of) like "Mastermind meets Bejeweled." I've given this game out as gifts several times. It's always a hit.
I give this a rating of 4.
